AWS Launch Wizard now allows you to deploy SAP applications using APIs in single-node, multi-node, and high availability architectures. This gives you the choice to use Launch Wizard APIs (through the AWS Software Development Kit (SDK) client or CLIs) or the existing console-based experience while still taking advantage of the built-in automation and best practices that Launch Wizard provides.
These APIs allow customers to use Launch Wizard without deviating from existing DevOps processes or CI/CD pipelines. At launch, the APIs will support creating new deployments, checking the status of an existing deployment, listing workload deployment patterns, listing all workloads that have been deployed, or deleting deployments. Launch Wizard APIs are integrated with AWS CloudTrail— you can learn more at logging using AWS CloudTrail.
AWS Launch Wizard APIs are available in 26 Regions including US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Paris, Stockholm and Milan), South America (Sao Paulo), US West (N. California, Oregon), Canada (Central), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Hyderabad, Singapore, and Sydney), Middle East (Bahrain, UAE), Africa (Cape Town), China (Beijing, operated by Sinnet), and China (Ningxia, operated by NWCD). AWS Launch Wizard is also available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West, US-East) Regions.
