Today, we are excited to announce the availability of VMware Cloud on AWS in Asia Pacific (Hyderabad). The addition of this region expands the availability of VMware Cloud on AWS to 26 regions globally, enabling more customers to accelerate their migration to the cloud.
VMware Cloud on AWS is a jointly engineered solution that seamlessly integrates computing, networking, and storage functionalities, while benefiting from the dedicated maintenance, support, and operations from both VMware and AWS. Customers can leverage the same familiar VMware tools, skill sets, and governance across their on-premises and cloud environments, while taking advantage of the scalability and cost-effectiveness of the AWS cloud. AWS is VMware’s preferred public cloud partner for all vSphere-based workloads. Customers can also deploy the entire VMware stack, including ESXi, vCenter, NSX and vSAN, along with additional storage options while getting access to over 200 native AWS services. This new availability in Hyderabad allows customers to leverage the scale and sustainability of all AWS data centers.
