AWS Clean Rooms has added certification for International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports. Amazon Web Services (AWS) maintains certifications through extensive audits of its controls to ensure that information security risks that affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company and customer information are appropriately managed.

AWS Clean Rooms is a fully managed analytics service that helps customers collaborate with their partners without sharing or copying one another’s raw data. AWS Clean Rooms has certification for compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022, 27017:2015, 27018:2019, 27701:2019, 22301:2019, 20000-1:2018, 9001:2015, and CSA STAR CCM v4.0. Besides ISO, AWS Clean Rooms is also in-scope for SOC 1, 2, and 3 reporting. You can download copies of the AWS ISO certificates and SOC reports in AWS Artifact to use them to jump-start your own certification efforts.

This adds to the list of compliance programs that AWS Clean Rooms is in-scope for, which includes ISO, SOC, and being Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) eligible.
