AWS Launch Wizard now allows customers to automate deployment of SAP workloads in three new AWS regions: Asia Pacific (Melbourne), Europe (Spain), and Europe (Zurich) Regions.
AWS Launch Wizard provides a step-by-step guide to help size, configure, and deploy AWS resources for SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver systems built on SAP HANA and Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) using application programming interfaces (APIs) or a console-based experience. Its purpose-built, user-friendly wizard simplifies the process of launching SAP solutions on AWS. Launch Wizard also provides AWS resource recommendations, and is integrated with AWS compute, storage, management, logging, monitoring, and security services to orchestrate SAP deployments taking SAP and AWS best practices into consideration. It frees up employee/partner resources from undifferentiated infrastructure configuration so they can focus on differentiating business process design and implementation activities.
With this release, customers can now deploy SAP applications using Launch Wizard in 31 regions. Visit the AWS Launch Wizard workload availability for details of which Launch Wizard supported workloads are available in each of the regions.
