The enhanced sign in experience for the AWS Console Mobile App for iOS was released on October 25th, 2023.
With the enhanced sign in experience for the Console Mobile App for Android, AWS customers who previously signed in to AWS Console in a mobile browser using their password manager will have their AWS identity credentials available to be auto-filled on first use in the Console Mobile App. AWS customers without biometrics on their mobile device can enter their mobile device PIN to auto-fill their AWS identity credentials instead of entering their password each time. AWS customers can select a default AWS identity for fast recurring sign in to access their AWS resources faster. AWS customers can use supported virtual authenticator apps, FIDO security keys and hardware TOTP tokens for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
The Console Mobile App lets users view and manage a select set of resources to stay informed and connected with their AWS resources while on-the-go. The sign in process supports biometrics authentication, making access to AWS resources simple, secure, and quick.
