Christopher Goodman is a climate and weather data scientist at BASF. His work focuses on evaluating and building weather products for use within Xarvio products and other BASF digital tools, researching the impacts of weather and climate on agriculture, and helping other teams and organizations utilize environmental data within their products and research. He is passionate about improving sustainability within agriculture and helping farmers make better agronomic decisions. Prior to joining BASF, Christopher worked at The Climate Corporation as a data scientist and software engineer where he developed environmental models and services for use within agronomic models. Christopher obtained a MS in atmospheric sciences from the University of Hawaii where he researched the impacts of weather and climate variability on commercial aviation operations. He also has a BS in aviation sciences from Baylor University and received a commercial pilot license during his undergraduate studies.
