Amazon EC2 Systems Manager now supports the Raspbian operating system. Customers can now manage Raspberry Pi devices just like any other Linux server.
Previously, Systems Manager supported only Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances and on-premises servers. Now, you can manage Raspberry Pi devices with Systems Manager support for Raspbian operating system, with the same Systems Manager functionality that you have on Windows and Linux operating systems. You can remotely manage Raspberry Pi devices, which allows you to write code in AWS and then deploy it to your devices, or update and patch your device firmware.
Systems Manager is available in all commercial regions and GovCloud.
