Julian Mino is the Principal Cloud Architect at the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota. He has spearheaded the university's digital transformation through strategic planning, direction, and technical execution. His role is pivotal in leading the university's cloud adoption journey and establishing best practices.
Julian's expertise lies in the design, development, and management of cloud platforms and solutions. He has successfully migrated enterprise workloads to the cloud, developed cloud-native and hybrid solutions, and established internal cloud standards. His work in compliance methodologies and cost optimization has been instrumental, always ensuring that security, performance, scalability, and reliability standards are met.
Julian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, complemented by a minor in Mathematics from Metropolitan State University. His academic pursuits continued with a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota. He also holds the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
Away from the world of cloud computing, Julian is a dedicated family man, investing quality time with his loved ones (especially his two children). His passion for technology is only matched by his commitment to his family and friends.
