You can now use the AWS Deep Learning AMIs with Apache MXNet v0.10 and TensorFlow v1.1 for Amazon Linux and Ubuntu in US East (Ohio), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Seoul) and Asia Pacific (Sydney). The AWS Deep Learning AMIs are also available in the following public AWS regions: US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), and EU (Ireland).
The Deep Learning CloudFormation template is also updated with the latest AMI IDs and lets you customize and provision a distributed deep learning cluster on CPU or GPU instances. This template does the heavy lifting of configuring MXNet or Tensorflow on master and worker instances properly so users can focus their time and effort on their deep learning problem. This updated configuration also provisions and configures an Amazon Elastic File System so results, logs and data can be shared across cluster instances.
