‘My Cause, My Cleats’ Sweepstakes on AWS (the “Sweepstakes”) OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER, WIN, OR CLAIM A PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. RESTRICTIONS APPLY.

1. This Sweepstakes is only open to is open to legal residents of the 50 United States of America (the “USA”), including the District of Columbia, aged 18 or over (or the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they live).

2. Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of the NFL Enterprises LLC (hereafter, “Sponsor”), The NFL Parties (defined as NFL Properties LLC, National Football League, its member professional football clubs, NFL Ventures, Inc., NFL Ventures, L.P., NFL Enterprises LLC, NFL International LLC, NFL Productions LLC, and each of their respective affiliates, owners, subsidiaries, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, both individually and collectively) and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (hereafter collectively, “Released Parties”), and each such individual’s immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, any child, husband, wife and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win a prize.

3. This Sweepstakes is void where national or local laws prohibit or restrict participation.

4. By entering into the Sweepstakes, you confirm that your participation or award of a prize from AWS or its affiliates:

a. is neither prohibited nor inconsistent with any applicable laws, regulations, or binding orders, including applicable ethics or procurement rules or policies;
b. will not create a conflict of interest for Amazon or its affiliates; and
c. will not conflict AWS or its affiliates from participating in on-going competitive procurements or considerations.

By permitting you to enter into the Sweepstakes, neither AWS, nor its affiliates have any expectation of favourable or otherwise beneficial treatment, and permitting you to enter is not intended to reward or influence any business activity or competitive bid and is permitted independently of any past, current or prospective commercial transaction.

5. No purchase necessary; however, internet access and a valid public Instagram or X (formerly Twitter) account is required. If you do not have an Instagram or X account, you can create an account for free by visiting www.instagram.com and www.x.com and agree to their terms and conditions and submit the relevant required details to create an account. By submitting your information and creating an account for any of the aforementioned social media platforms (“Platform” or “Platforms”), you agree to their Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. If you do not agree to such Terms of Use and Privacy Notice, you cannot create an account or participate in this Sweepstakes. You must keep your profile on a public setting for a period of 5 weeks after the close of the Sweepstakes Entry Period, thereafter you can return your account to “private”.

6. Sweepstakes Period: Enter between 09:00:00 AM ET on November 25, 2024 and 11:59:59 PM ET on the December 19, 2024 inclusive.

7. To enter the Sweepstakes, you must complete the steps below:

a. Step 1: visit www.cleatscreator.com
b. Step 2: design your custom cleat, save, and share via post on your social channel using the hashtag of the cleats you’d like to win:
      i. #JoshAllenMCMC
     ii. #MaxxCrosbyMCMC
    iii. #DKMetcalfMCMC

Then follow the steps below to share your design on your selected Platform in order to enter the relevant Sweepstakes:

c. For Instagram:

     i. Log onto your Instagram account (or create one for free; you must agree to Instagram/Meta terms of use).
    ii. Upload a picture of your cleats design onto your Instagram grid and include either:
            1. #JoshAllenMCMC to enter the Sweepstakes for a pair of cleats worn by Buffalo Bills player Josh Allen in the NFL's 'My Cause, My Cleats' game on Sunday, December 1 vs. the San Francisco 49ers (see clauses11 and 12 for further Prize details);
            2. #MaxxCrosbyMCMC to enter the Sweepstakes for a pair of cleats worn by worn by Buffalo Bills player Maxx Crosby in the NFL's 'My Cause, My Cleats' game on Sunday, December 1 vs. the San Francisco 49ers (see clauses11 and 12 for further Prize details); or
            3. #DKMetcalfMCMC to enter the Sweepstakes for a pair of cleats worn by worn by Buffalo Bills player Maxx Crosby in the NFL's 'My Cause, My Cleats' game on Sunday, December 1 vs. the San Francisco 49ers(see clauses11 and 12 for further Prize details).
  iii. The hashtag “#Sweepstakes” must also be used in an Entry to be considered valid. All requirements must be completed for an Entry to be considered valid.

d. For X:

      i. Log onto your X account (or create one for free; you must agree to X terms of use).
     ii. Tweet a picture of your cleats design and include either #JoshAllenMCMC, #MaxxCrosbyMCMC or #DKMetcalfMCMC to enter the respective Sweepstakes for each player’s cleats (see clauses11 and 12 for further Prize details).
    iii. The hashtag “#Sweepstakes” must also be used in an Entry to be considered valid. All requirements must be completed for an Entry to be considered valid.

8. Entrants can generate multiple designs of their cleats, but a maximum of 1 entry into the Sweepstakes is permitted per hashtag, per platform, per person (therefore a total maximum of 6 entries permitted per person if all entry methods are used) during the Sweepstakes Period. Only the first submission will be counted as an entry, all other submissions thereafter will not be entered into the Sweepstakes. A maximum of 1 Prize is permitted per household.

9. Odds of Winning: Your odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received into each Sweepstakes.

10. Further Entry Details:

a. Entrants must ensure that their profile is set to public on the Platform used to enter.
b. Entrants must not delete their entry on any Platform before January 3 2025, or their entry will be deemed invalid and they will not be entered into the Sweepstakes.
c. Entries must not include any content that infringes or violates the rights of the NFL or any other any third party, including but not limited to, ownership, copyrights, trademarks, patents, logos, licensing rights, rights of publicity or privacy or any other intellectual property rights, excluding that of the Sponsor. The NFL logo and related marks are trademarks of the NFL. All rights reserved. Violation of IP rights of any 3rd party in a submission is grounds for disqualification.
d. Entries must not disparage the Sponsor, or any other person or party affiliated with the Sweepstakes.
e. Entries must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libellous.
f. Entries must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
g. Entrants must not submit content that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret, or otherwise subject to third-party intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless the Entrant is the owner of such rights or has permission from their rightful owner to post the content.
h. Entrants must not submit content that contains any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, spyware or other disabling devices or harmful or malicious code.
i. Except where prohibited by law, by entering, each Entrant:
        i.   Agrees to grant the Sponsor in perpetuity a non-revocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the copyright and other intellectual property rights vesting in your entry (including both inputs and generated outputs for the entry) for all purposes connected with this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to display on the Sponsor’s website, social channels, in any publicity, advertisement or case study carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor in any manner or medium whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet and any other website of the Sponsor, parties or entities associated with the Sweepstakes or its agents/contractors choosing and use of the entry, or part(s) of the entry, in marketing materials relating to this Sweepstakes (“the Media”).
        ii. Agrees to grant the Sponsor and its agents/contractors the right to moderate, modify or remove any entry if it is deemed unsuitable, in whole or in part, for display on the Sweepstakes website or in any materials relating to the Sweepstakes. Entrants hereby represent and warrant that they have all rights necessary to grant the licence and rights provided for in this paragraph and that all materials forming part of their entry and or the Prize to this Sweepstakes, and any use of such materials by or on behalf of the Sponsor, comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations and do not infringe or otherwise violate the intellectual property or other rights of any third party. 
      iii. Agrees to the inclusion, publication, reproduction and/or other use of their entry and or the Prize by the Sponsor, without further notice or compensation, in any Media.
      iv. Agrees that the Sponsor shall have the right to promote the Entry and use the name, likeness, voice, and image of all individuals contributing to an Entry, in any materials promoting or publicizing the sweepstakes and its results. Some Entry components may be displayed to the public. Other Entry materials may be viewed by the sponsor and administrator for screening and evaluation.

j. By submitting an Entry or accepting any Prize, Entrants represent and warrant that the content submitted does not contain any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, spyware or other disabling devices or harmful or malicious code.

THIS SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIZES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS FOR ANY RESTRICTIONS OR LIMITATIONS REGARDING THESE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS.

21. Participant irrevocably waives all claims against the National Football League, its member professional football clubs, NFL Ventures, Inc., NFL Ventures, L.P., NFL Properties LLC, NFL Enterprises LLC and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees (collectively, the “NFL Entities”) and agrees that the NFL Entities will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or the prizes awarded. The NFL Entities have not offered or sponsored this Sweepstakes in any way.

22. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE; THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

23. The Sponsor seeks to run a fair and secure Sweepstakes and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Rules, your entries (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Sponsor reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Sponsor reserves the right at any point to:

a. Verify the eligibility of Entrants and/or potential winners by requesting such information it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed.
b. Disqualify Entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Sweepstakes.
c. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
d. Disqualify entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties submitted by bots, macros or other automated means.
e. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
f. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.
g. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Official Rules.
h. Cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes.

24. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason the Prize and/or any element of the Prize is not available, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Prize or element of the Prize for another of equal or greater value.

25. The Sponsor is not responsible for any undelivered messages or e-mails, including without limitation, e-mails that are not received because of an entrant’s privacy or spam filter settings that may divert any winner notification or other Sweepstakes related e-mail to a spam or junk folder.

26. No responsibility can be taken for Entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Sponsor does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the microsite app.

27. By entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees: (I) to be bound by these Rules, (ii) to waive any rights to claim ambiguity with respect to these Rules;(iii) to the extent permitted by law, to waive all of their rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against any of the Released Parties in connection with the Sweepstakes; and (iv) to the extent permitted by law, to forever and irrevocably agree to release and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any and all claims, lawsuits, judgments, causes of action, proceedings, demands, fines, penalties, liability, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) that may arise in connection with: (a) the Sweepstakes, including, but not limited to, any Sweepstakes-related activity or element thereof, participation or inability to participate in the Sweepstakes;(b) the violation of any third-party privacy, personal, publicity or proprietary rights; (c) acceptance, attendance at, receipt, travel related to, participation in, delivery of, possession, defects in, use, non-use, misuse, inability to use, loss, damage, destruction, negligence or wilful misconduct in connection with the use of a Prize (or any component thereof); (d) any change in the Sweepstakes or prizing (or any components thereof); (e) human error; (f) any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of the Released Parties; (g) lost, late, stolen, misdirected, damaged or destroyed prizing (or any element thereof); or (h) the negligence or wilful misconduct by entrant.

28. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or the integrity and or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is severely undermined by any event beyond the control of the Sponsor, the Sponsor will not be liable for any failure to comply with their obligations or any delay in performing their obligations within these Rules if an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs caused by (but not limited to) global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, earthquake, explosion, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, any federal, state, provincial or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence).

29. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the AWS Privacy Notice, available at: https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/.

30. If any part/s of these Official Rules are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.

31. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

32. If there is a discrepancy between these Official Rules and those in any promotional material, these Official Rules will prevail.

33. This Sweepstakes, these Official Rules, and any related dispute are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without reference to its conflict of law rules. Entrants agree to exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue in the federal and state courts in King County, Washington for any dispute arising out of these Official Rules or the Sweepstakes. All Entrants will pay their own attorneys' fees and expenses.

34. Except where prohibited, as a condition of entering into this Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the Entrant and any Sweepstakes entity, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or the Prize awarded, or the determination of a winner must be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will an Entrant be permitted or entitled to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than Entrant's actual out-pocket expenses (if any), not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100 USD or the equivalent in local currency), and Entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

35. The NFL and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, members, representatives, and employees (collectively, the “Entities”) will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or any Prize awarded and have not offered or sponsored this Sweepstakes in any way.

36. WINNERS LIST: To obtain the names of the winners visit www.promowinners.com/AWSmycausemycleats. Requests must be received no later than February 28, 2025. The list will be published when the drawing has been conducted and the winner verified.
