This Quick Start by Perficient enables organizations to offer better customer experiences in Amazon Connect by providing data integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
The Quick Start provides prebuilt AWS Lambda functions that perform the integration. After you deploy the Quick Start, you can use Amazon Connect contact flows to:
- Identify accounts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 by caller phone number.
- Record call details in a note on the account.
To add this integration to Amazon Connect:
|Step 1||Sign up for an AWS account, if you don't already have one.
Getting an account will automatically sign you up for Amazon Connect and all other AWS services.
|Step 2||Sign up for a free trial instance of Microsoft Dynamics 365, or use an existing instance associated with your Office 365 subscription.|
|Step 3||Create a new Amazon Connect instance for the integration, or use an existing instance.|
|Step 4||Get the user guide from the Perficient website.
Follow the steps in the guide to configure your Microsoft Dynamics 365 instance for the Amazon Connect integration.
|Step 5||Deploy the integration.
Launch the AWS CloudFormation template that performs the integration. Deployment takes just a few minutes. Amazon Connect integrations are currently supported in the US East (N. Virginia) Region only.
|Step 6||Configure the integration.
