Matt Garman, CEO, AWS
Matt Garman joined Amazon in 2006 and is currently the CEO of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Matt sits on Amazon’s executive senior leadership team, known as the S-Team. He has held several leadership positions in AWS during his time at Amazon. Matt previously served as Senior Vice President of the Sales, Marketing, and Global Services organization in AWS as well as Vice President of the Amazon EC2 and Compute Services businesses for AWS for over 10 years. He started at Amazon when AWS first launched in 2006 and served as one of the first Product Managers, helping to launch the initial set of AWS services. Prior to Amazon, Matt spent time in product management roles at early-stage Internet startups.
Colleen Aubrey, Senior Vice President, AWS Applied AI Solutions
Colleen Aubrey is Senior Vice President of AWS Applied AI Solutions. In this role she leads the team responsible for building a new pillar to AWS’s business; applications that leverage Amazon's unique experience and expertise to help businesses handle their day-to-day operations. Her team’s ambition is to drive innovation through Amazon Connect, AWS Supply Chain, secure workplace enablement, autonomous retail, and accelerating research in life sciences. These AWS businesses will provide organizations of all sizes, from startups to the world’s largest enterprises and most trusted public institutions, with the most reliable, scalable, and secure cloud technologies so they can speed up innovation and better serve their customers in nearly every industry.
Prior to AWS, Colleen led Amazon Advertising product teams, and for more than 15 years, helped build Amazon’s advertising products and services into an industry-leading ad tech offering. She played a key role in building Amazon’s retail media ad products of which Sponsored Products has become the industry standard. During this time, she held a variety of leadership roles working across product development, marketing, operations, and sales.
Colleen joined Amazon in 2005, leading the UK Marketplace Sales team based in London. During her time in Marketplace, she also led the FR Marketplace team, worked on enabling sellers to compete for the buy-box for the first time, and helped launch FBA in the UK.
Prior to Amazon, Colleen worked for News Corporation in Sydney, Australia, building the job board product and business. She entered the ecommerce industry with HotJobs.com in 1999. She earned a BS in Applied Science from University of Canberra, and an MBA from Macquarie University.
Julia White, Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President, WW Marketing
Julia White is the Chief Marketing Officer & Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, she leads a global team of marketers dedicated to inspiring and empowering AWS customers and partners to maximize their cloud potential.
With nearly three decades of experience in the technology sector, Julia brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her position at AWS. Prior to joining the company, she served as the Chief Marketing & Solutions Officer at SAP, where she oversaw a comprehensive portfolio including product and industry marketing, digital and brand marketing, regional marketing, corporate communications, solution management, and government affairs.
Julia's career also includes a notable 20-year tenure at Microsoft, where she held several leadership positions, including General Manager and Corporate Vice President. Her extensive experience in the tech industry has equipped her with a deep understanding of enterprise software, cloud computing, and digital transformation.
A graduate of Stanford University with a BA in Communication, Julia furthered her education by earning an MBA from Harvard Business School. This combination of communication skills and business acumen has been instrumental in her success as a marketing executive in the fast-paced tech industry.
Based in Seattle, Julia balances her professional life with her personal passions. She resides with her partner, Mark, and their two children. An outdoor enthusiast, Julia enjoys spending her free time hiking, biking, skiing, and birding, embracing the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Eric Brandwine
VP/Distinguished Engineer , Amazon Security Leadership, AWS - Eric Brandwine is a Distinguished Engineer on the Amazon Security team. His responsibilities include security operations, incident response, security tool development, and service design and development. Prior to Amazon Security he was one of the founding members of the AWS Security team. Eric also built the customer experience and network virtualization for Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). Before AWS, Eric built and operated large scale applications and infrastructures used by the US Intelligence Community for analysis and forensics.
Byron Cook
VP/Distinguished Scientist, Agentic AI Leadership, AWS - Prof. Dr. Byron Cook is a Vice President and Distinguished Scientist, specializing in mathematical logic and automated formal reasoning. Byron’s scientific contributions have resulted in customer features such as IAM Access Analyzer and VPC Reachability Analyzer, as well as formal correctness proofs about Amazon’s internal cryptography, networking, storage and virtualization infrastructure. Byron joined Amazon in December 2014. He is a Fellow of Britain’s Royal Academy of Engineers, as well as full professor of Computer Science at University College London.
Rob Chu
Corporate VP & President of AWS Greater China, AWS - Rob Chu joined Amazon Web Services in October 2023 as Corporate Vice President and President of AWS Greater China Region, responsible for AWS's business strategy and development in the region. With 30 years of experience in software, IT consulting, cloud, and AI, Rob has extensive expertise leading large organizations to innovate and deliver customer value in both multinational and China local companies. Before joining AWS, Rob served as Corporate Vice President at Baidu, leading the Apollo Self Driving Business. Prior to that, he worked at SAP for over 20 years in leadership positions across engineering, strategy, and business development, ultimately leading its S/4HANA development organization globally. Rob holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Nanjing University and MBA degrees from UC Berkeley and Columbia Business School.
Asa Kalavade
VP of AWS Transform, AWS - Dr. Asa Kalavade is VP of AWS Transform, helping customers migrate and modernize their infrastructure, applications, and code. It is the first agentic AI service for modernizing .NET, VMware, and mainframe workloads at scale. Previously, she led the AWS go-to-market tools transformation, incorporating generative AI capabilities. She also managed hybrid storage and data transfer services. Before joining AWS in 2016, Asa founded two venture-backed startups and remains active in mentoring Boston startups. She holds a PhD in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley and over 40 patents.
Rob Kennedy
VP, Network Services, AWS - Rob Kennedy is the Vice President Network Services at AWS. In this role, he is responsible for all of the network services that provide connectivity to AWS customers, from VPC networking, to all the ways customers connect their networks both inside and outside of AWS (TGW, VPN, DX, CWAN), our load balancer services that sit in front of applications, to the network edge with services such as Route53 DNS, CloudFront, and Global Accelerator, our video encoder service Elemental, and all of our network security from L7 web application protection and anti-DDoS, to AWS homegrown network firewall. Rob joined Amazon in 2009, initially in our Dublin (Ireland) office, and has held various roles across networking. He has a Bachelor of Computer Science from Technological University Dublin in Ireland.
G2 Krishnamoorthy
Vice President of AWS Database Services, AWS - G2 is Vice President of AWS Database Services. In this role, he leads the teams responsible for AWS database services including Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon DocumentDB, Amazon ElastiCache, AWS DMS, Amazon Neptune, Amazon RDS, and Amazon Timestream. G2 brings two decades of experience in databases, big data analytics, and machine learning, having built various parts of the SQL Server database, Azure Analytics, and Azure ML at Microsoft. Prior to joining Amazon, G2 built and ran the Data, Analytics and Machine Learning platform at Facebook/Meta.
Rahul Pathak
Vice President Data and AI GTM, AWS - Rahul Pathak is Vice President Data and AI GTM at AWS, where he leads global go-to-market and specialist teams helping customers create differentiated value with AWS's AI capabilities including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Quick Suite, and Amazon SageMaker, and Data Services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, and Amazon Redshift. Rahul believes generative AI will transform every customer experience and data is a key differentiator for AI applications. Prior to his current role, he was Vice President, Relational Database Engines, leading Amazon Aurora, Redshift, and DSQL. During his 13+ years at AWS, Rahul has focused on launching and growing managed database and analytics services. He has over twenty years of technology experience, co-founded two companies, and holds a Computer Science degree from MIT and an Executive MBA from University of Washington.
Mai-Lan Tomsen Bukovec
Vice President of Technology, AWS - Mai-Lan Tomsen Bukovec, Vice President of Technology at Amazon Web Services (AWS), leads Data and Analytics services that millions of customers rely on for digital transformations, machine learning, generative AI, and next-generation customer experiences. With over 25 years of experience, Mai-Lan is a pioneer in helping customers leverage cloud technologies to transform their businesses. Leading a global team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers, Mai-Lan is responsible for essential AWS services including Data Storage, Analytics, Streaming, and Messaging. She holds 16 patents and has led innovations powering industries from media to autonomous cars, supporting over a million data lakes in AWS cloud. Named one of the Top 15 people in Enterprise AI, Mai-Lan regularly speaks at industry events and mentors diverse populations as executive sponsor of Asians at Amazon.
Bret Borota
Director of Global Sales and Business Development, Healthcare and Payor, AWS - Bret Borota is Head of Global Strategic Sales and Business Development for the Healthcare and Payor segments at AWS. In this role, Bret leads Business Development Managers setting the strategic direction for AWS across Medical Imaging, EHRs, Interoperability, Revenue Cycle Management, and Commercial payors. He is responsible for industry sales teams managing strategic customers that inform and validate AWS strategies and scale solutions for broader go-to-market opportunities. Prior to AWS, Bret was Vice President at Cerner Corporation, where he spent 20 years deploying and developing Clinical EHR, AI, and Device Integration products across commercial, federal, and global markets. Bret has been a Board Certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives for 8 years and was chairman of the Steve Denning Software Development Learning Consortium.
Paul Duffy
Director of Tech Marketing, AWS - Paul Duffy joined Amazon in 2011 and is currently Director of Technical Product Marketing, leading product marketing for AWS's compute offerings (Amazon EC2, ECS/EKS, and Lambda), observability offerings such as CloudWatch, and migration efforts including AWS Transform. Prior to this role, Paul led a Solutions Architecture team supporting early-stage startup customers in North America. Earlier roles included Principal Solutions Architect on the Amazon Alexa team and an early member of the AWS New York Solutions Architecture team. Paul built the original AWS Product Marketing team in 2013, guiding the launch of AWS Lambda, Amazon Aurora, Amazon EC2 Container Service, and Amazon WorkSpaces. Outside of AWS, Paul held leadership positions at startups including head of product marketing at Stripe and spent 10 years in technical roles at Microsoft.
Stéphane Israël
Managing Director, AWS European Sovereign Cloud, AWS - Stéphane Israël, leader of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, is a French national and seasoned executive with extensive experience in European technology. Prior to joining AWS, he was the CEO of Arianespace, Europe's leading satellite launch company and a launch provider for Amazon’s Project Kuiper, where he oversaw numerous successful space missions, including the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope, and fostered strong relationships with both public and private sector stakeholders across Europe and beyond.Based in Germany, Israël was appointed as the second managing director of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud in October 2025. He will be responsible for the management and operations of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, including infrastructure, technology, and services, as well as leading AWS's broader digital sovereignty efforts.
Debra Goldfarb
Director, Strategy and Products, Advanced Compute, Simulation and Quantum, AWS - Debra is Director of Advanced Computing, Simulation and Quantum Products and Strategy for AWS, leading the company’s efforts to broaden the scope and portfolio of ACS services and capabilities. Prior to joining AWS, Debra was an Intel Fellow, and Chief Analyst forIntel’s Data Platform Group’s Strategy Organization. Previously, she spearheaded Intel’s efforts in expanding the use of HPC into new markets, and was instrumental in defining strategy and pathfinding for Intel’s Technical Computing Group. Prior to Intel, Debra led strategy and evangelism for Microsoft’s Technical Computing organization, driving several high-profile collaborations including the Gates Foundation’s Malaria initiative. Debra started her career as an industry analyst at IDC, launching its High-Performance Computing (HPC) practice, founding the HPC User Forum, its Life Sciences practice and launching the Bio-IT business portfolio. Her work as a leader in HPC helped shaped UStechnology policy and the global HPC ecosystem. Outside of AWS, she is actively involved in diversity and STEM initiatives.
Mark Relph
Director of Data & AI Partner Go-ToMarket, AWS - Mark Relph is Director of Data & AI Partner Go-To-Market at AWS, where he leads worldwide strategy and execution for AWS's partners in Data & AI, with a focus on Generative AI. Mark and his team help customers and partners harness the transformative potential of Generative AI at scale. In this role, Mark drives global go-to-market strategy across Global Systems Integrators, regional SIs, ISVs, startups, and AI model providers. He develops innovative partner programs and solutions that accelerate enterprise adoption of Generative AI while driving business growth in AWS's Data & AI offerings. Throughout his career at AWS, Mark has played a pivotal role in launching over 32 services, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Amazon Q, and Amazon Bedrock. Mark is a charter member of the C100, supporting Canadian startups.

Generative AI and Machine Learning for Financial Services Business Development Leader, AWS - Jason is a technology business development and go-to-market strategy leader - and former Office of the CIO innovation strategy leader at major banks - with expertise in driving relationships, creating go-to-market solutions, and ensuring post-sales customer success and adoption. In addition to technology company experience, Jason is deeply experienced in the enterprise customer environment managing strategic ISV and SI relationships and planning and delivering innovative technology solutions. Mustafa Isik
Chief Technologist for Sovereignty, AWS - Mustafa Isik is Chief Technologist for Sovereignty at AWS. He supports customers worldwide across the public sector, regulated industries, and companies of all sizes on strategic IT challenges, cybersecurity, and digital sovereignty. He assists customers in highly regulated industries and government organizations in improving their IT security, data protection, and digital sovereignty through AWS technologies. Mustafa ensures customer and regulatory authority voices are heard and contributes to developing services, technologies, validations, and certifications that enable customers to leverage AWS cloud scalability and performance. As a computer scientist with an M.S. from the Technical University of Munich, he brings extensive technology experience. Before joining AWS, he led digital transformation at Bavarian Broadcasting and numerous ARD joint products, pioneering cloud computing use for production systems within ARD, Germany's largest public broadcasting network.
Jody Bhagat
President North America, Engine by Starling, Starling Bank Group - Jody leads Starling Bank business in North America for Engine, responsible for driving growth across the region. As a seasoned finance leader, Jody has executed multiple successful digital transformation programs. With over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, Bhagat has held leadership positions at major American banks, including U.S. Bank, Citizens Bank, and Wells Fargo, and previously served as a partner at McKinsey & Company. Jody holds and MBA from Northwestern and an engineering degree from Michigan.
Parminder (Parry) Bhatia
Chief AI Officer, GE Healthcare - At GE HealthCare, Parry focuses on integrating AI across smart devices, the patient journey, and hospital operations. GE HealthCare has topped the FDA's list of AI-enabled medical devices for three years, with more than 85 authorizations. Parry's team advances AI integration to enhance patient outcomes and create a world where healthcare has no limits. Parry serves on the company's responsible AI committee ensuring new AI applications are reliable, scalable, and responsible. He has been recognized by Modern Healthcare's 40 Under 40, the AIM AI 100 2024 Awards, and Constellation Research's AI 150 list. Previously, Parry was Head of Applied Science at Amazon, contributing to Amazon Comprehend Medical and other AI solutions. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from IIT and an M.S. in Machine Learning from Georgia Tech.
Himan Jain
Head of Product, Remitly - Himani Jain brings deep expertise in building and scaling ventures in high-growth environments. Currently serving as GM and Product Leader at Remitly, she is incubating a strategic portfolio of products and establishing a new business line. Previously, Himani spent six years at Convoy, helping scale the company from a $350M startup to a $3.8B industry leader. As part of the Product & Engineering executive team, she lead a cross- functional organization of ~70 professionals, building the demand-side marketplace platform that powered $700M+ in freight operations. Himani’s leadership drove significant margin improvement and launched industry-first product lines contributing over 20% of company revenue. Post-Series E, she served as Product and Strategic Advisor to the CEO, defining long-term platform strategy. Himani holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and engineering degrees from IIT and MIT.
Gautam Roy
SVP & Chief Technology Officer, Unum - Gautam Roy is a technology executive with 26 years of experience across financial services, logistics, manufacturing, technology, utilities, and services industries. He recently joined Unum as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Unum protects over 42 million people and is a leader in group and individual disability benefits, group life, voluntary workplace benefits, and dental and vision coverage. Previously, Mr. Roy was CTO at WASH, where he revolutionized customer service through mobile payment and cloud-first digital platforms. At Waste Management, he led transformational digital programs and implemented innovative organizational models that improved cash flow and reduced costs. He spent fourteen years at Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), where he delivered industry-leading low-latency trading systems. Earlier, he transformed technology operations at Motorola and Allied Signal.

CTO, Vercel - Malte is the CTO of Vercel. Previously, Malte was a Principal Engineer responsible for Google Search Rendering and Engineering Director for Google Search. He is the creator of AMP and co-architect of Core Web Vitals, a founder of JSConf EU, and a MACH Alliance board member.
Brian Bot
Director of the CAIA Strategic Coordinating Center and Director of AI & Data Science Partnerships, Fred Hutch - Brian M. Bot is the Director of AI & Data Science Partnerships at Fred Hutch Cancer Center and Director of the Cancer AI Alliance (CAIA) Strategic Coordinating Center. He is a data scientist, strategist, and open knowledge advocate who has spent his career leading large- scale initiatives that operate at the intersection of data, technology, and biomedical research. Brian has advised organizations including the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the International Data Forum, and has been recognized by the Mozilla Foundation as one of the “50 People Who Are Making the Internet a Better Place.” He previously held leadership roles at Sage Bionetworks and began his career as a statistician at the Mayo Clinic.
Beth Meagher
US Federal Health Sector Lead, Deloitte Consulting LLP - Beth Meagher is US Federal Health Sector leader and Principal at Deloitte Consulting LLP's Government & Public Services practice. She has more than 20 years of experience serving health care and life sciences clients with expertise in strategy, digital transformation, organizational transformation, public-private partnerships, and change management. Prior to her current position, Beth held numerous leadership roles in Deloitte Consulting, most recently as lead client services partner for the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She led the Monitor Deloitte Strategy practice through post-acquisition, founded and led the translational research practice, and spearheaded Deloitte's Cancer Moonshot efforts and Cancer XPRIZE initiative. Beth serves on the board of The Children's Inn at NIH. She holds an MA in organizational management from George Washington University and a BA from Muhlenberg College.
