AWS Systems Manager, which uses State Manager to report on and enforce your desired state configuration, now allows the use of documents shared across accounts. With document sharing, you save time when creating and updating documents while ensuring more consistency across accounts.
State Manager uses documents to take actions on your resources. With this launch, you can simplify your configuration process by securely using documents created at one source from many other accounts. In addition, updates to a document in the source account will also be reflected in any other accounts where that document is shared. You can unshare documents when an account’s access needs to be restricted.
