Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES) customers can now add or remove email addresses in bulk from their account-level suppression list. The account-level suppression list prevents you from sending email to addresses that previously produced a bounce or complaint event. When you configure the account-level suppression list, you specify whether addresses should be added to the list when they result in hard bounces, when they result in complaints, or both. Previously, you were only able to manually add or remove individual email addresses from the account-level suppression list, which was a time consuming process, especially for customers who were onboarding to the Amazon SES account-level suppression list.
With this launch, customers can use the Amazon SES API v2 to import multiple email addresses to the Amazon SES account-level suppression list. They can also delete multiple email addresses from the Amazon SES account-level suppression list. To learn more about this feature, see Amazon SES account-level suppression list in the Amazon SES Developer Guide.
