AWS Supercharges Simplex AI to Overcome Concurrency, O&M, and Scaling Challenges
Overview
Simplex AI is a technology company focused on AI-powered global connectivity. Guided by its philosophy, "Simplify the complex with AI," the company is committed to making advanced AI accessible by transforming AI technology into practical tools that help users break down connectivity barriers and boost productivity. Its flagship product, Lev8, is an intelligent work assistant designed for professionals and fast-growing businesses, including sales teams, recruiters, founders, and investors. Lev8 helps users precisely identify high-value prospects, transforming the open web into a real-time, actionable intelligence engine. In doing so, it fundamentally redefines how modern teams discover and connect with decision-makers, key talent, and strategic partners. Lev8's key strength lies in the integration of search and execution. Through dynamic audience intelligence and a two-sided platform flywheel, it provides broader signal coverage and more precise outcomes than traditional tools. Simplex AI primarily leverages the following AWS services: Amazon Bedrock (for overseas operations only), Amazon OpenSearch Service, Amazon EC2, and Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS).
Opportunity
Choosing AWS to Build a Robust Cloud Foundation for Agentic AI
Simplex AI places exceptionally high demands on database search capabilities, particularly in terms of concurrency and response speed, and requires specialized tools to manage complex concurrent workloads. These considerations were therefore critical in its choice of cloud service provider. After a comprehensive comparison of cost, stability, and other factors, Simplex AI decided to partner with AWS for the following reasons:
- Stable and mature technology: Amazon Bedrock (for overseas operations only) natively supports concurrent LLM tasks. This saves Simplex AI from the complexity of managing concurrency capacity and avoids the scaling friction that can arise from relying on multiple combined solutions.
- Stable vector database with fast response: Amazon OpenSearch Service delivers strong performance in handling concurrent database queries and response times. Compared with self-managed, on-premises frameworks, it is more stable, responds faster, and offers stronger scalability while also reducing operational costs and risks.
Solution
Simplifying Agentic AI Deployment and Management to Focus Technical Teams on Development
Solutions such as Amazon Bedrock (for overseas operations only) and Amazon OpenSearch Service have significantly simplified daily operations and development for Simplex AI. The results are particularly evident in large-scale deployments and complex system governance.
In Kubernetes-based deployment scenarios, Simplex AI relies on Amazon Bedrock (for overseas operations only) to support concurrent capacity for 1,000 to 2,000 large-model workloads. This not only facilitates future scaling but also eliminates the need for complex concurrency capacity management.
Given the demanding concurrency and speed requirements of Simplex AI's Agentic AI database searches, the Amazon OpenSearch Service-based solution has significantly reduced latency and saved operational time. Furthermore, the solution provides a major leap in stability and scalability compared with the company's previous self-built solution.
In practice, nearly all cloud resources and services can be managed via the AWS CLI, greatly supporting Simplex AI's automation efforts and its "infrastructure as code" practices. Today, Simplex AI has integrated AI agents with the AWS CLI across various scenarios. By adopting a "commands + automation + AI" approach to tasks such as resource provisioning, configuration changes, log analysis, and troubleshooting, Simplex AI has drastically reduced manual effort and the overhead associated with context switching.
As a startup, Simplex AI evaluated the leading cloud service providers and ultimately chose AWS. Our choice was driven by the proven stability and maturity of its technology, alongside a careful assessment of cost-effectiveness and support services, especially the Amazon Web Services Activate program for startups. With the technical support and developer-friendly services from AWS, we have significantly reduced labor and time costs while achieving excellent product performance and user experience.

Eliminating the Complexity of Building and Maintaining Agentic AI Databases
With expert guidance and robust infrastructure from AWS, Simplex AI has successfully navigated the complexities of LLM capacity management and agent concurrency control. At the same time, it has significantly simplified the processes of database setup and ongoing maintenance, making core services such as Lev8 more reliable and enabling the technical team to focus fully on product development.
As users continue to grow, Simplex AI will continue to explore how to use the concurrency capabilities of Amazon Bedrock (for overseas operations only) to meet increasing user demands. Additionally, Simplex AI plans to adopt more AWS services, including services for team model fine-tuning and new solutions for LLM deployment and scaling.
