Feature | Description |
---|---|
Amazon S3 support | You can now specify:
|
HLS | Elastic Transcoder can now create Apple HLS-compliant, pre-segmented files and playlists. |
MPEG-TS | Elastic Transcoder now supports MPEG-TS as a container format for output. |
Multiple outputs | When you submit a job, you can now specify up to 30 outputs in different formats. |
Resolution and aspect ratio | Elastic Transcoder now lets you specify five values—MaxWidth , MaxHeight , SizingPolicy , PaddingPolicy , and DisplayAspectRatio —to better control the resolution and aspect ratio of output videos. For thumbnails, you can specify MaxWidth , MaxHeight , SizingPolicy , and PaddingPolicy . |

VP8 | Elastic Transcoder now supports VP8 as a video codec for output. |
WebM | Elastic Transcoder now supports WebM as a container format for output. |
