Amazon WorkMail now supports sending with aliases. Sending with aliases allows users to send email using an alternative email address. With this feature, users can easily assume different roles when communicating with external parties. The new alias functionality is available in the Amazon WorkMail web application and other supported clients. To use this feature, visit Send as an Alias.
Amazon WorkMail now also supports S/MIME signing and encryption when sending email. Enabling S/MIME automatically encrypts users’ email content using their existing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). To learn how to configure S/MIME, visit Send an Encrypted or Signed Email.
These features are available today in all AWS Regions where Amazon WorkMail is available. To learn more about Amazon WorkMail, or to start your trial, please visit Amazon WorkMail.
