You can now create up to 1,000 file systems in your AWS account.
Amazon EFS provides a simple, scalable, elastic file system for Linux-based workloads for use with AWS Cloud services and on-premises resources. You can now create up to 1,000 file systems per AWS account, an increase from the existing limit of 125. You can also now create up to 400 EFS mount targets per Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC).
Additional file systems can be created for no additional cost, and you will be billed based on amount of data stored across all file systems. For pricing information in your region, please visit the Amazon EFS pricing page, and see the AWS Region Table for complete regional availability information.
