Easily enable AWS Systems Manager capabilities with Quick Setup
Today, AWS Systems Manager announces the release of Quick Setup, simplifying the way you enable visibility and control of your instances. With Quick Setup, you can easily get started with key Systems Manager capabilities like patch compliance scanning and instance inventory collection.
Quick Setup automates your instance permission setup within Systems Manager and keeps your SSM Agents up to date. Quick Setup also enables best practice capabilities. These capabilities include scanning for patches and collecting software inventory, providing continuous visibility into the security and compliance of your instances from the time they are launched. From Quick Setup, you can also install, configure, and schedule updates for the Amazon CloudWatch agent to provide enhanced monitoring for your instances.
To get started, choose Quick Setup from the Systems Manager left navigation menu. Quick Setup is a feature in Systems Manager. Systems Manager enables visibility and control of your cloud and on-premises infrastructure. It simplifies resource and application management, shortens the mean time to resolution (MTTR) for operational problems, and makes it easier to operate and manage your infrastructure securely at scale.
