You can now view and manage your limits for Amazon API Gateway using AWS Service Quotas. Quotas, also referred to as limits, are the maximum number of resources that you can create in an AWS account. With API Gateway’s integration with AWS Service Quotas, you can view and manage your quotas easily and at scale as your API workloads grow.
Previously, you had to review API Gateway documentation to see default limits for the service, and you had to request limit increases through the AWS Support Console and track approved limit increases manually. Now, you can view account-level API Gateway limits, see your approved limits, and request limit increases using Service Quotas via the AWS console, AWS APIs and the AWS CLI. To get started with AWS Service Quotas, read the Service Quotas blog post. To learn more about Amazon API Gateway, a fully managed service that makes it easy for developers to create, publish, maintain, and operate APIs at scale, visit the API Gateway product page.
Service Quotas for API Gateway are available in all regions where AWS Service Quotas is available. For AWS Service Quotas regional availability, see the AWS Region Table.
