Amazon Kinesis Video Streams is now available in nine additional AWS regions: US East (Ohio), Canada (Central), South America (São Paulo), Europe (London), Europe (Paris), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong), and Asia Pacific (Singapore).
Amazon Kinesis Video Streams makes it easy to securely stream video from connected devices to AWS for real-time machine learning (ML), storage, playback, and batch-oriented processing and analytics. Kinesis Video Streams automatically provisions and elastically scales all the infrastructure needed to ingest streaming video data in real time from millions of devices. It also durably stores, encrypts, and indexes video data in your streams, and allows you to access and playback your data through easy-to-use APIs.
Amazon Kinesis Video Streams also supports real-time media streaming via WebRTC that enables developers to easily stream real-time two-way media for use cases like home security and monitoring, camera-enabled doorbells, baby and pet monitoring, camera-enabled vacuums, smart home automation, smart appliances, and more.
