Amazon QuickSight now available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region
Amazon QuickSight is now available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region. AWS GovCloud (US) Regions are isolated AWS Regions designed to host sensitive data and regulated workloads in the cloud, assisting customers who have United States federal, state, or local government compliance requirements.
Amazon QuickSight is a fast, scalable, and fully managed Business Intelligence service that lets you easily create and publish interactive dashboards across your organization. QuickSight dashboards can be authored on any modern web browser with no clients to install or manage; dashboards can be shared with 10s of 1000s of users without the need to provision or manage any infrastructure. QuickSight dashboards can also be seamlessly embedded into your applications, portals, and websites to provide rich, interactive analytics for end-users. QuickSight provides advanced ML-capabilities out-of-the-box, including 1-click forecasting, anomaly detection and customizable natural language narratives. QuickSight has a subscription-based, per user pricing model for dashboard authors. For dashboard consumption, QuickSight offers unique session based pricing models which allow you to share insights with all of your users while only paying for usage; you can choose between per-user pricing or session capacity based pricing that provides discounted per-session rates with annual commitments on session usage.
