Amazon EMR service limits can now be managed through AWS Service Quotas
You can now use AWS Service Quotas to view and manage your Amazon EMR service limits, also known as quotas, from a central location via the AWS console, API, or AWS CLI. Using AWS Service Quotas, you can view your service limits in one place and eliminate the need to go to multiple sources or maintain your own list.
You can make requests for increasing your limits by using the AWS console or through an API call. You can also use Amazon CloudWatch to set up thresholds on service limits and alerts when those thresholds are breached, allowing you to take remedial actions. Using Service Quotas for EMR is available free of cost. You will only be charged for the optional Amazon CloudWatch alarms you set up.
