Starting today, you can view all operational issues (OpsItems) for an impacted resource in AWS Systems Manager OpsCenter. OpsCenter allows operations engineers and IT professionals to investigate, diagnose, and resolve operational issues related to AWS resources from a central place. This enables you to understand the greater context while troubleshooting an issue such as an instance failure, and helps you to resolve issues faster.

With this release, while troubleshooting an OpsItem, you can access an aggregated view of all operational issues for the impacted resource. You can then see these operational issues by status (Open, In progress, or Resolved), severity, and when the OpsItem was created and last updated, without navigating across multiple consoles. This helps you to easily correlate multiple alarms or events based on history and associated timeline. For example, you can analyze the pattern of operational issues to identify how frequently an Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) resource is breaching CPU threshold as a result of patching or while running a specific query.

This update is now available in all AWS Regions where AWS Systems Manager is offered. To learn more, see the AWS Systems Manager OpsCenter documentation.
