AWS announces a new feature of AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store that supports the removal of a label associated with a parameter, to enable customers to reorganize Parameter Store parameters with new labels.
Parameter Store provides a secure, centralized storage for your application configuration data. Labels are user-defined aliases to parameter versions. You can use labels to group parameter versions across hierarchies. Labels provide an additional layer of protection during parameter updates, so that you can quickly fall back to the previous version. With this release you can remove label(s) from a parameter to recover from user errors and to reorganize parameter groupings with new labels.
This feature enhancement is available in all commercial Regions (excluding the AWS China Regions), and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. For more information, see our documentation. To learn more about AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store, visit our product page.
