Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics Studio is now available, enabling you to interactively query data streams in real time, and easily build and run stream processing applications using SQL, Python, and Scala. With a few clicks, you can launch a serverless notebook to perform ad hoc querying and live data exploration on data streams, and get results in seconds. From the notebook interface, you can also easily build and deploy your code as a stream processing application with durable state and autoscaling to continuously generate actionable insights in real time with no additional development effort.
Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics Studio makes stream processing more accessible to developers with a simple, familiar notebook interface for rapid development. The notebooks are powered by Apache Zeppelin and use Apache Flink as the processing engine. Apache Flink is an open source framework and distributed data processing engine and Apache Zeppelin is an open source, web-based development environment with support for multiple languages.
You can get started from the Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics Studio, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, or the Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK) consoles and integrate with a variety of AWS services such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon DynamoDB streams, and custom integrations using built-in connectors.
