Now, with AWS Systems Manager, IT administrators can clone runbooks and other Systems Manager documents such as Command documents. Using this feature, you can quickly create a copy of your existing runbooks or publicly available managed documents and update them based on your use case.
A Systems Manager runbook or document defines the actions that Systems Manager performs on your AWS resources. Now, you can create new runbooks more easily by cloning existing runbooks and then editing the cloned runbook instead of authoring a new runbook from scratch.
This feature is available in all AWS Regions where AWS Systems Manager is offered. For more information, visit the Systems Manager product page.
