AWS Application Migration Service (AWS MGN) is now available in four additional AWS Regions: US West (Northern California), Asia Pacific (Osaka), Canada (Central), and South America (São Paulo).

AWS Application Migration Service is the recommended service for lift-and-shift migrations to AWS. The service minimizes time-intensive, error-prone manual processes by automatically converting your source servers from physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure to run natively on AWS. You can use the same automated process to migrate a wide range of applications to AWS without making changes to applications, their architecture, or the migrated servers.

AWS Application Migration Service continuously replicates your source servers to AWS without interfering with their operation. Prior to cutover, you can use AWS Application Migration Service to conduct non-disruptive tests. When your cutover window arrives, you can use AWS Application Migration Service to launch your servers on AWS within minutes. After you migrate your applications to AWS, you can leverage additional AWS services and capabilities to modernize your applications.

With this launch, AWS Application Migration Service is now available in 13 AWS Regions: US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Northern California), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Osaka), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), Europe (Stockholm), and South America (São Paulo). Access the AWS Regional Services List for complete availability information.
