AWS Launch Wizard now allows customers to deploy HANA databases on the recently announced on-demand Amazon EC2 High Memory instances with 6, 9, and 12TB of memory.
AWS Launch Wizard offers a guided way of sizing, configuring, and deploying AWS resources for SAP HANA and SAP HANA-based Netweaver systems with a purpose built, easy to use wizard. It asks you questions about your SAP application and database, then recommends right-sized AWS resources configured in accordance with AWS and SAP best practices and a cost estimate. With Launch Wizard, you can deploy production-ready SAP systems on AWS in hours vs weeks or months.
AWS Launch Wizard supports multiple deployment patterns, provides AWS resource recommendations, and is integrated with AWS compute, storage, management, logging, monitoring, and security services to orchestrate SAP deployments. It frees up employee/partner resources from time-consuming infrastructure deployment so they can focus on activities that drive business value.
