Amazon MemoryDB for Redis now supports AWS Graviton2-based T4 instances. T4g is the next generation burstable general-purpose DB instance type that provides a baseline level of CPU performance, with the ability to burst CPU usage at any time for as long as required. This instance type offers a balance of compute, memory, and network resources for a broad spectrum of general purpose workloads.
You can now try Amazon MemoryDB for Redis with a 2-month free trial. All existing and new AWS customers are eligible for 750 hours of a T4g.small instance per month for two months. Additionally, under the free trial you can write up to 20 GB of data per month for two months. AWS will automatically deduct the instance hours and data written charges from your AWS bill each month.
T4g instances and free trial are available in all AWS regions where Amazon MemoryDB is available. You can launch T4g DB instances and get started with a free trial from the Amazon MemoryDB Console, AWS CLI, or AWS SDK.
