You can now use AWS Launch Wizard to lead you through a best practices deployment of self-managed Microsoft Exchange Server on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). AWS Launch Wizard uses the AWS Well-Architected Framework to guide you through the configuration, sizing and deployment of Microsoft Exchange Server on AWS Cloud, without the need to manually identify and provision individual AWS resources.
Launch Wizard assists you in selecting EC2 instance types, CIDR block configurations, IP addresses, as well as options to include Exchange Edge Transport servers, backups, and Network Load Balancer. The deployment includes Active Directory Domain Services (Active Directory DS) for directory services and optionally Remote Desktop Gateway (RD Gateway) for remote administration over the internet. Microsoft Exchange Server supports mailboxes, calendars, compliance, and e-archives. When you deploy a Microsoft Exchange Server environment on AWS, you can scale your environment based on demand.
AWS Launch Wizard offers a guided way of sizing, configuring, and deploying AWS resources for third-party applications. With this launch, it now supports Microsoft SQL Server, SAP-based workloads, IIS for Windows Server, and more. AWS Launch Wizard is available at no additional charge. You only pay for the AWS resources that are provisioned for running your workload.
