AWS Resilience Hub has added Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS) and AWS Trusted Advisor to its set of supported services. AWS Resilience Hub provides a single place to define, validate, and track the resilience of your applications so that you can avoid unnecessary downtime caused by software, infrastructure, or operational disruptions.
With this launch, you can now use AWS Resilience Hub to assess your applications by analyzing their Amazon SNS configurations (including subscribers) and to receive recommendations to help meet your applications’ recovery time objective (RTO) and recovery point objective (RPO).
If you use AWS Trusted Advisor, you can now view applications associated with your account that have been assessed by AWS Resilience Hub. AWS Trusted Advisor shows latest resilience scores and indicates if the resilience policy (RTO and RPO) has been met. Each time an assessment is run, AWS Resilience Hub updates AWS Trusted Advisor with the latest results.
In addition, AWS Resilience Hub has expanded its support for Amazon Route 53 Application Recovery Controller (ARC). You can now use AWS Resilience Hub with Amazon Route 53 ARC to receive assessments and recommendations for Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) and Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS). AWS Resilience Hub continues to support Amazon Route 53 ARC for AWS Auto Scaling groups and Amazon DynamoDB.
AWS Resilience Hub has also expanded its support for AWS Backup. You can use AWS Resilience Hub with AWS Backup to receive assessments and recommendations for Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Aurora. AWS Resilience Hub continues to support AWS Backup for Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS), Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS), and Amazon Elastic Block Storage (Amazon EBS).
The newly supported services are available in all of the AWS Regions where Resilience Hub is supported. See the AWS Regional Services List for the most up-to-date availability information.
