AWS Elemental MediaConvert is now available in the Africa (Cape Town) region. You may now configure and submit MediaConvert jobs using the console or API endpoints within the Africa (Cape Town) region.
With AWS Elemental MediaConvert, audio and video content providers with any size library can easily and reliably transcode on-demand content for broadcast and multiscreen delivery. MediaConvert functions independently or as part of AWS Media Services, a family of services that form the foundation of cloud-based workflows and offer the capabilities needed to transport, transcode, package, and deliver video.
