Amazon Kendra is an intelligent search service powered by machine learning, enabling organizations to provide relevant information to customers and employees, when they need it. Starting today, AWS customers can use the Amazon Kendra Microsoft Teams Connector to index and search messages and other entities from Microsoft Teams.
Critical information can be scattered across multiple data sources in an enterprise, including messaging platforms like Microsoft teams. Amazon Kendra customers can now use the Microsoft Teams Connector to index chat messages, channel posts, wikis and attachments and meeting chat, files and notes and search for information across this content using Kendra Intelligent Search. This connector supports full and incremental sync. The connector helps to index documents and their access control information to limit the search results to only those documents the user is allowed to access. To show the search results based on user access rights and using only the user information, the connector provides an identity crawler to load principal information, such as user and group mappings, automatically into the Principal Store.
