AWS Security Hub is now available in the Asia Pacific (Melbourne) AWS Region. You can now use Security Hub to centrally view and manage the security posture of your AWS accounts in this Region and take advantage of more than 110 security controls to automatically check your environment against security industry standards and best practices.
Available globally, Security Hub aggregates, organizes, and prioritizes your security findings to provide a single pane of glass into your cloud security posture. You can also continuously monitor your environment using automated security checks based on standards such as AWS Foundational Security Best Practices, the CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-53. Finally, you can take action on findings by using Amazon EventBridge events to send the findings to ticketing, chat, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR), and incident management tools, or to custom remediation playbooks.
You can try Security Hub at no cost for 30 days on the AWS Free Tier with a single action in the AWS Management Console. To learn more about Security Hub capabilities, consult the Security Hub documentation, and to receive notifications about new Security Hub features and controls, subscribe to the Security Hub SNS topic in your preferred Region.
