Starting today, the compute-optimized Amazon EC2 C6a instances are now available in Canada (Central), the general-purpose Amazon EC2 M6a instances are now available in Canada (Central), and Europe (Milan) regions, and the memory-optimized Amazon EC2 R6a instances are now available in US West (N. California), and Asia Pacific (Singapore) regions. C6a, M6a and R6a instances are powered by third-generation AMD EPYC processors. M6a and R6a instances deliver up to 35% better price performance than comparable M5a, and R5a instances, while C6a instances deliver up to 15% better price performance than comparable C5a instances. These instances offer 10% lower cost than comparable x86-based EC2 instances.

With these additional regions, C6a instances are available in the following AWS Regions: US East (Ohio, N. Virginia), US West (N. California, Oregon), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London), and South America (Sao Paulo). M6a instances are available in the following AWS Regions: US East (Ohio, N. Virginia), US West (N. California, Oregon), Asia Pacific (Hyderabad, Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Milan), and South America (São Paulo). In addition, R6a instances are available in the following AWS Regions: US East (Northern Virginia, Ohio), US West (Oregon, N. California), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Singapore), and Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland). These instances can be purchased as Savings Plans, Reserved, On-Demand, and Spot instances.
