Amazon WorkSpaces now offers new bundles powered by Windows Server 2022. With these bundles, customers can launch Windows Server 2022 WorkSpaces and take advantage of the latest Windows server operating systems features. It also enables customers to run applications that require recent Windows versions.
While Windows Server 2016/2019 powered WorkSpaces bundles are still available, you can now choose to run WorkSpaces powered by Windows Server 2022 and experience new features of Windows Server 2022 such as Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0), Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Secure Boot, Secured-core server,Credential Guard and Hypervisor-protected Code Integrity (HVCI) and DNS-over-HTTPS. You can either use the managed Windows Server 2022 WorkSpaces bundle or create your own custom image/bundle tailored for your requirements from the managed bundles.
The new WorkSpaces Windows Server 2022 support is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon WorkSpaces is available. For pricing information, visit Amazon WorkSpaces pricing page.
