AWS European Tour – May 2006
|
I’ll be traveling to Europe next month to speak at several conferences and user groups. Here’s my itinerary:
-
On May 16th and 17th I will be chairing and speaking at the IQPC Best Practices in Service Oriented Architecture Conference in London. As chair I will get to deliver the opening and closing remarks. As a speaker, I will talk about uncovering the hidden costs of web services integration. I have given earlier versions of this talk twice in the past year or so and the reception has always been really good.
-
On May 24th I will talk about Web Services 2.0: Best Practices for Extreme Reuse at WWW 2006 in Edinburgh. Earlier in the conference, Amazon’s Matt Round will discuss successful web-based businesses. Matt will be representing our new Scotland development centre, and will also be looking to fill some cool jobs.
We are also planning a series of talks at Java, PHP, and .Net user groups along the way. I will post more information about these as soon as our plans are final.
We have set aside some time in each city to meet with developers and aspiring developers. If you are interested, drop me a note.
I’ll be returning to the UK in the summer for the XML Summer School, and then again in the fall for dConstruct 2006 (link goes to the 2005 page).
