Enhance your analytics embedding experience with generative BI capabilities
In this post, we demonstrate the new console and dashboard embedding features available in Amazon QuickSight, using Amazon Q.
Align the Amazon QuickSight UI with your organization’s brand
With the new application customization feature in QuickSight, you can now create a branded analytics environment that aligns with your organizational identity. For enterprises, this helps with establishing brand coherency and a consistent look and feel for users. For ISVs, it helps with seamlessly integrating QuickSight into the look and feel of the application. In this post, we show how to configure and manage custom brands in your QuickSight account so you can present a branded analytics environment that aligns with your organizational identity to your end-users.
Build custom and interactive dashboards using new runtime capabilities in QuickSight Embedding SDK
Amazon QuickSight is a fully managed, cloud-native business intelligence (BI) service that you can use to connect to your data and create interactive dashboards that can be shared with tens of thousands of users. The dashboards can be used within QuickSight or embedded in software as a service (SaaS) apps. Today, we’re launching a feature you can use to dynamically update the theme and filters of embedded dashboards and visuals at runtime through the QuickSight Embedding SDK. Runtime filtering and theming of embedded dashboards and visuals can help you seamlessly integrate your SaaS application with QuickSight embedded dashboards and visuals. You can now use the new methods available in the Embedding SDK
Automate your Amazon QuickSight assets deployment using the new Amazon EventBridge integration
We heard that you wanted an automated, scalable way to deploy, back up, or replicate Amazon QuickSight assets at scale so that BIOps teams within your organization can work in an agile manner. We are launching QuickSight assets Create, Update, and Delete (CUD) events using Amazon EventBridge. With EventBridge, developers can respond automatically to events in QuickSight such as a new dashboard creation or update. These events are delivered to EventBridge in near real time. Developers can write simple rules to indicate which events are of interest to them and what actions to take when an event matches a rule. By subscribing and responding to QuickSight events in EventBridge, customers can automate their workflows, such as continuous deployment, replication, and backups.
Build a seamless interaction between your application and embedded Amazon QuickSight dashboards and visuals using embedded callback actions
Amazon QuickSight is a fully managed, cloud-native business intelligence (BI) service that makes it straightforward to connect to your data, create interactive dashboards, and share these with tens of thousands of users, either within the QuickSight interface or embedded in software as a service (SaaS) applications or web portals. With QuickSight providing insights to power daily decisions across the organization, end-users expect actionable insights that can flow seamlessly into their daily workflow in their application of choice. This allows you to make data-driven decisions and take action on these decisions without context switching between multiple platforms. With this release, customers embedding QuickSight dashboards or visuals can now use new capabilities in the Embedding SDK to unlock use cases for end readers.
