Amazon WorkSpaces announces price reduction of up to 20% on the Performance bundle

Today, we are pleased to announce that we are reducing the price of monthly and hourly Performance bundle-based Amazon WorkSpaces across all AWS regions and storage options effective September 1, 2019. You can now save up to 20% on the price of the Performance bundle on Windows and Linux WorkSpaces.

With 8GB of RAM and two virtual CPUs, the Performance bundle has emerged as the preferred WorkSpaces bundle option for customers migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10. As the Windows 7 end of support deadline approaches in early 2020, we want to help make your migration as easy and cost effective as possible.

Now you can get started for as little as $26 per user per month in US-East (for 40 hours of usage in US-East) for a secure, managed hourly Performance WorkSpace. Alternatively, customers who prefer the monthly WorkSpaces option can now take advantage of pricing starting at $41 per month for a BYOL Performance WorkSpace in the US-East region, representing a 20% discount over the previous monthly price of $51.
