Bart Machielse is a quantum research scientist at the AWS Center for Quantum Networking. During his PhD at Harvard he specialized in designing and fabricating nanophotonic and nanomechanical devices for applications in quantum communication. Bart has a passion for learning more about quantum materials and devices that he continues to pursue in his current position. Bart joined AWS in March 2021, where he has helped establish the AWS Center for Quantum Networking.
