AWS Local Zones 功能

AWS Local Zones 是 AWS 基础设施部署的一种形式，可将计算、存储、数据库和其他某些初级服务放置在更靠近大量人口聚居的位置，或者靠近行业和 IT 中心的位置，使您能够提供最终用户要求延迟不超过 10 毫秒的应用程序。

AWS 服务

您可以在 AWS Local Zones 靠近最终用户的地理位置运行各种 AWS 服务，例如 Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud（Amazon EC2）、Amazon Virtual Private Cloud（Amazon VPC）、Amazon Elastic Block Store（Amazon EBS）、Amazon FSx、弹性负载均衡（ELB）、Amazon EMR、Amazon ElastiCache 和 Amazon Relational Database Service（Amazon RDS），AWS Local Zones 将来还会添加更多服务。您还可以使用按需容量预留为您在特定本地区域中的 Amazon EC2 实例预留容量。您可以启用本地区域而无需任何额外费用。您只需为在本地区域中使用的服务付费。

计算和存储

Local Zones 提供一系列通用型、计算优化的、内存优化的、加速计算的以及存储优化的 Amazon EC2 实例系列（包括 T3、C5、M5、R5、R5d、I3en、G4），以及 Amazon EBS 卷（例如通用型 SSD（gp3）、通用型 SSD（gp2）、预调配 IOPS SSD（io1）、吞吐量优化型 HDD（st1）和 Cold HDD（sc1）），供本地数据块永久存储之用。Local Zones 还在本地提供两种文件服务：适用于 Lustre 的 Amazon FSx（高性能 POSIX 文件系统）和 AWS FSx for Windows File Server（原生的 Microsoft Windows 文件系统）。

容器

您可以在 Local Zones 中将 Kubernetes 容器组（pod）作为 Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service（Amazon EKS）集群的一部分运行。您还可以在 Local Zones 中运行 Amazon Elastic Container Service（Amazon EKS）任务。

联网

在账户中无缝扩展 Amazon VPC，以跨越可用区和 AWS Local Zones。您可以在区域 VPC 中创建一个子网并将其与本地扩展区关联，就像将子网与 AWS 区域中的可用区关联一样，以将所有 VPC 功能（包括安全组，网络 ACL 和路由表）扩展到本地扩展区。

Internet 和 Direct Connect

Local Zones 具有本地 Internet 出入口，可降低延迟。Local Zones 还支持 AWS Direct Connect，使您有机会通过专用网络连接路由流量。

访问区域性服务

借助 Local Zones，您可以通过 AWS 专用高带宽网络主干上的相同 API 和工具集无缝连接到 AWS 区域中的所有服务，例如 Amazon Simple Storage Service（Amazon S3）和 Amazon DynamoDB。

AWS 工具

您可以使用 AWS CloudFormation、Amazon CloudWatch、AWS CloudTrail 和其他 AWS 工具来运行和管理工作负载，其方式与目前云工作负载的处理方式相同。
