• Who should attend AWS Summit Los Angeles?
  

  AWS Summit Los Angeles is ideal for developers, engineers, system administrators, systems architects, IT executives, and technical decision-makers. Session content will accommodate all levels of familiarity from beginners (level 100) to expert (level 400). Attendees can choose between lecture-style presentations, interactive learning guided by AWS experts, customer keynotes, white-boarding sessions, an expo hall, and much more.
  

• When and where is AWS Summit Los Angeles?
  

  The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center - South Hall, in Los Angeles, California on May 22, 2024. See the detailed agenda and session catalog on the Agenda page.
  

• Is there a price to attend?
  

  No. Registration is complimentary for this event and includes access to meals, expo hall, keynote, sessions, and receptions.
  

• How can I get to AWS Summit Los Angeles?
  

  The Los Angeles Convention Center is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles at 1201 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA. The Convention Center is served by 2 major airports (LAX and Hollywood Burbank Airport) with easy access by car or public transportation.
  

  For those driving to the event, the South Hall parking garage offers ample parking with plenty of additional options nearby. For those on public transportation, there are several options between the Metro Rail, Metro Bus, Dash Bus or Metrolink. • Can I get reimbursed by AWS for parking or travel costs?
  

  No, AWS does not reimburse or validate parking or other travel associated costs.
  

• Is there a hotel to reserve for AWS Summits?
  

  No, we don't have a dedicated block for this event, but you can review nearby hotels on the Discover Los Angeles tourism website.
  

• Do you offer continuing education credits to attendees or a certificate of attendance?
  

  AWS Summit Los Angeles does not offer continuing or professional education credits nor does AWS offer a certificate of attendance. Attendees can participate in Training & Certification sessions onsite, but please note credits will not be awarded.
  

• What is the dress code for attendees?
  

  There is no dress code for attendees. Attendee attire varies from business casual, suits, hoodies and jeans. Please wear what you are comfortable in.
  

• Is there an age requirement to attend AWS Summit Los Angeles?
  

  Yes. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age on the day they pick up their conference badge.
  

• What is the AWS Code of Conduct?
  

  Please see here for the AWS Code of Conduct. All attendees must comply with the Code of Conduct.
  

Accessibility and Inclusion

• Are lactation rooms available?
  

  Yes. Lactation rooms are designed to provide a private, secure space for lactating attendees to express milk. The spaces are equipped with lockers, cold packs, wipes, and comfy chairs.
  

• How do I request accessibility services?

• What accessible services will be available?
  

  We'll have many services available at the Summit, including:
  

  • ASL (American Sign Language)
  • CART (Communication Access Real-time Translation)
  • Mobility device rental

• Do you allow service animals?
  

  Service animals are welcome at AWS Summit Los Angeles. For guest hotel rooms, there are specific guidelines around service and support animals at each hotel property. Please connect directly with your hotel’s reservation desk or concierge prior to arriving for more information.
