BMW Group + Qualcomm + AWS = Faster Time to Market for Automated Driving Features
Overview
Developing an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) requires large-scale data storage, processing, and simulation involving hundreds of petabytes of data. And, at any one time, data has to be accessible by thousands of users. BMW Group cloud solution architect Jörg Krebs explains how BMW worked with Qualcomm to build an automated driving platform on AWS. Using advanced artificial intelligence models and with well-architected modules, BMW development teams have the power to speed time to market for the next generation of vehicles. Learn more about how BMW Group continues to innovate on AWS.

AWS brought together all of their team into one place in Munich and after aligning the technical architecture and design with us, they started to code like crazy. They were able to build the platform within 8 weeks. [This was] only possible because they had existing reference architectures, frameworks, and blueprints right at hand.
