FactoryTalk DataMosaix is Rockwell Automation’s new Industrial DataOps and Data Hub offering. It connects to various OT, ET, and IT data sources used in industrial environments, such as historians and edge gateways, to ingest the desired data. DataMosaix will connect to both Rockwell Automation and 3rd party systems, but standard connectors for Rockwell Automation products create a premium and simplified integration experience. DataMosaix then transforms, contextualizes, and models the data so that it can be used across a wide range of applications where ultimately, it creates value. This can be in the form of dashboards and another visualization, which can be developed in a low-code/no-code application development tool or a traditional code-based development environment. As organizations continue to improve their data maturity, the data can be leveraged to build advanced analytics that are used in predictive and prescriptive applications.
