Starting today, M5 instances are available in the AWS Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Seoul) and EU (Frankfurt) Regions. M5 instances, the next generation of the Amazon EC2 General Purpose compute instances, were introduced in November 2017 to offer a balance of compute, memory, storage and networking resources for a broad range of customers' workloads.
With these regional launches, M5 instances are available in the AWS US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), US West (N. California), US East (Ohio), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Canada (Central), EU (London), EU (Paris), EU (Ireland), EU (Frankfurt) Regions.
M5 instances are available in 6 sizes, with 2, 4, 8, 16, 48, and 96 vCPUs and are purchasable as On-Demand, Reserved, Spot and as Dedicated Instances or Dedicated Hosts.
