Namirial Streamlines Contract Signing with Generative AI Powered by Amazon Bedrock
Overview
Generative artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a powerful tool that has the potential to transform whole industries. But adopting this technology can be challenging due to the complexity of building and maintaining AI models.
Namirial’s approach to generative AI has accelerated over the last few years, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) was a natural choice to power these capabilities due to the long-standing relationship between the companies. The digital trust company adopted Amazon Bedrock—the simplest way to build and scale generative AI applications—and gained access to pretrained models and tools to simplify and accelerate the development process.

Enhancing Efficiency and Security in Digital Workflows
Since 2000, Namirial has provided solutions to help businesses enhance the efficiency and security of their workflows, with services ranging from identification to digital signature and document management. Namirial’s eSignAnywhere solution empowers users to sign documents electronically while maintaining legal compliance.
Namirial’s CEO has always believed in the potential of AI. For this reason, he has actively promoted the research and integration of AI into the company’s product portfolio and business processes. One clear example of this commitment was the creation of dedicated hackathons focused on AI; during one of the latest events, employees built AI-powered features for eSignAnywhere. This result was made possible thanks to Namirial’s early access to Amazon Bedrock.
Accelerating AI Development Using Amazon Bedrock
Namirial developed two generative AI features for eSignAnywhere: Summarization, which provides concise summaries of documents to be signed, and Intelligent Assistant, which answers user queries about document content in near real time. Namirial adopted foundation models through Amazon Bedrock to power these capabilities.
Using Amazon Bedrock, Namirial built the first prototype in around 24 hours and launched the new features in preview to test users within weeks. “If you want to create and deploy your own model, you have to spend time on training, configuration, testing, and so on,” says Davide Coletto, chief technology officer at Namirial. “Amazon Bedrock is already set up and ready to use, which is invaluable. It helps us test different models with little or no changes to the APIs.”
To comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Namirial runs all of its workloads and stores data in the AWS Europe (Ireland) Region. The company also avoids using customer data to train or fine-tune its models, which keeps sensitive information private and secure.
By integrating generative AI features, Namirial has enhanced the user experience. Customers can now review and sign contracts at a faster pace and with a clearer understanding of the content. Over 130 Namirial engineers now use generative AI tools, and they have seen a 35 percent productivity boost.
Expanding AI Initiatives Across the Product Portfolio
“At Namirial, innovation is ingrained in our DNA, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to investing in generative AI,” says Max Pellegrini, CEO of Namirial. “Our vision is to become an AI-powered qualified trust service provider. I believe that using technology from AWS will help us successfully reach our objective.”
