Now you can configure Amazon side private Autonomous System Number for your Virtual Private Gateway

We are excited to announce support for configurable Autonomous System Number (ASN) for its AWS Direct Connect (DX) and VPN services to enhance use of their Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). 

Users can now select a Private ASN (or use the value provided by AWS) for the Amazon half of the external BGP session using DX private Virtual Interface (VIF) or VPN connections. Also, they can now view the Amazon side ASN in the console or via APIs without downloading the router configuration details. 

This feature is available for use in all AWS Public Regions and AWS GovCloud (US).
