AWS Managed Microsoft AD Regional Expansion
AWS Directory Service for Microsoft Active Directory, also known as AWS Managed Microsoft AD, is now available in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region. AWS Managed Microsoft AD enables you to use a highly available managed Microsoft Active Directory in the AWS Cloud.
AWS Managed Microsoft AD is built on actual Microsoft Active Directory and does not require you to synchronize or replicate data from your existing Active Directory to the AWS Cloud. Using AWS Managed Microsoft AD, you can join Amazon EC2 instances to your managed domain easily and use single sign-on (SSO) to access Active Directory–aware applications and services in the AWS Cloud.
AWS Managed Microsoft AD is available in the US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), US West (N. California), Canada (Central), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), EU (Frankfurt), EU (Ireland), EU (London), and South America (São Paulo) Regions.
