You can now use AWS Backup, an automated and centralized backup service, to backup Amazon EFS file systems in the AWS US West (N. California), Canada (Central), Europe (London), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), and Asia Pacific (Seoul) Regions.
AWS Backup is a fully managed backup service that makes it easy to centralize and automate the back up of data across AWS services in the cloud as well as on premises. With AWS Backup, protecting your AWS resources, such as Amazon EFS file systems, is as easy as a few clicks in the AWS Backup console. Customers can configure and audit the AWS resources they want to back up, automate backup scheduling, set retention policies, and monitor all recent backup and restore activity.
Amazon EFS integration with AWS Backup removes the need for costly, customer solutions or manual processes by providing a fully managed, policy based backup solution that provides automated backup scheduling and backup retention management.
AWS Backup is available in the US East (Northern Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (N. California), US West (Oregon), Canada (Central), Europe (London), EU (Ireland), EU (Frankfurt), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), and Asia Pacific (Seoul) regions.
